Some of us have gathered in EBC backyards in small, physically distanced groups for picnics this summer. Some of us have gathered for intergenerational campfires at the Malones.  Some of us very much enjoyed seeing each other on those occasions.  Some have not been able to attend those opportunities.  Most of us are missing the in-person-ness of worship. 

I am excited to say that we are offering one opportunity to worship together, to be in-person together, with safety protocols in place.  I hope that you will join the Emmanuel community on the morning of October 4.  We will gather in the front yard of Tom and Barb Lahut at 288 New Road, Nassau, NY where there is ample room for each household to spread out at least 6 feet from the next nearest household. This is World Communion Sunday.  We will celebrate communion, each household partaking with the elements of bread and cup that they bring with them.
