Emmanuel

Pronounced "ee-MAN-you-ell", it means "God with us" in Hebrew, the language of the Old Testament of the Bible.  With everything that life throws our way, we find that it's a great reminder that God is with us!

Baptist

You may not know this, but there are actually many different kinds of Baptists!  We are a part of the American Baptist denomination.  We like being a part of the long stream of historical Christianity, while also being committed to figuring out what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st century.

Church

Being a church means that we are a community of people who are doing our best to love God and love all people in the way that Jesus taught and demonstrated.  This is no easy task!  But we think we stand a better chance together than we do alone.
