Singing and Sweets - Joyous Time for All
Singing Christmas carols to some of our homebound members is a highlight of the Advent season for many of us. This year, our carolers will gather at church on Saturday, December 14. Come for a light lunch at 12 noon, collect the poinsettias and sweet treats we will give to the people we sing to, and head out at 12:45 p.m. No experience is necessary, and all ages are invited! The carols we sing are usually old favorites, and often people request a particular carol and sing along with us. It is a joyous time for all.
Because we need to know how many singers to plan for, please sign up in Fellowship Hall or call the church office at 518-465-5161.
We also need cookies and candies to take to the homes where we carol. If you can bake or buy some for us, please bring them to the church no later than Thursday, December 12. If you want to bring them earlier, we can keep them in the church freezer. On that Thursday evening, we will be packing the goodies to be ready for Saturday.
If you can help with baking and/or packing, please sign up in Fellowship Hall or call the church office at 518-465-5161. If you have questions, please contact Edith Leet at 518-482-6612
