October concert!

Emmanuel will be swinging and swaying, clapping hands, and shouting out on October 5th at 7 pm. Emmanuel will host a free concert called “Deeper than the Skin.” Noted folk singers, Reggie Harris, a black man, and Greg Greenway, a white man, tell the story through songs of their strong friendship. With joy and a light heart, they will challenge us to examine the hidden racial biases we may harbor.

The concert is free and open to the public, so spread the word and bring a friend or two or more. We are reaching out to local schools, nearby churches through social media, posters, and the Times Union. We hope to fill the sanctuary that night. Through song and laughter Emmanuel hopes to raise racism awareness in our community.
