Hudson River Walk - Meet at Corning Preserve at 1:30

  • Emmanuel Baptist Church 275 State Street Albany, NY, 12210 United States (map)

This coming Saturday at 1:30, we will be meeting at the Corning Preserve in Albany for a nice walk along the Hudson. We will be talking about the "Peoples of the waters that are never still". The Kanien’keháka (People of the Flint) and Muh-he-con-neok (People of the Waters that are Never Still) are more commonly known today as the Mohawk Haudenosaunee and Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans. We will hear about their culture, gifts and experience their prayer life.

The walk will be short and accessible. We will meet at the playground area of the riverfront park which is next to the parking lot.  Access the parking lot by going down Quay street from Broadway and follow the signs to the parking area. There are restrooms available there.

Bring a snack if you like and binoculars as there may be eagles in the area. IF there are weather issues we will send out an announcement using this email on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Hope to see you there!
