To vote on proposal to be a Short Term Sanctuary church. Proposal as follows:

We, the congregation of Emmanuel Baptist Church, in commitment to the demonstration of God’s Love for all people, agree to offer short term sanctuary to those Friends fearing separation from their children or deportation from the United States. We affirm the rights of those members and adherents of the congregation who are called to this mission to stay with those Friends for the hours required for safety and for legal and other aid to arrive.
